I enjoyed and liked the kenneth Branagh Version more had a more intense feelingto it showing how he had the upper hand not like he was defeated like the other versions made it seem sad and upset but his version show more a distinguished confident feeling that hestill has the upper hand even when he is under all of stress

Agree to Disagree

Mel Gibson's version depicted his battle between santity and Insantity very clearly with his odd behavior, music choice, and the setting adding to the battle within himself. I believe his role as Hamlet he played it very well seemed more of a angry character and upset. I approved more of the Kenneth Branagh version i liked the scenery and how it's played during the winter time to emphasize the death of his father. The cold and the snow adds more of the gloomy feeling to it as so Kenneth Branagh portrayed Hamlet as a depressed character who has and continues to mourn his father death, and liked how when he chased the statue into the forest with the little war that was happening during the little trip depicts the war that is happening within is mind. The Modern version of Hamlet did not spark a connecton with me and how it was modernized made the whole story seemed a bit mis placed and did not fit the scenery but it how the tried to put a more edgy and dark quality to the movie. Just didn't like it overall.
